These Terms & Conditions govern use of Ebooks Bazar, including accounts, digital books, purchases, wallet features, publisher features and related website services.
By using the service, you agree to comply with these Terms and applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. About the Service
Ebooks Bazar provides a digital-book marketplace/service where users may browse, purchase and access ebooks and related features. Books may be supplied by publishers or other authorized content providers.
2. User Accounts
- Provide accurate information and keep account details updated.
- Protect your password and account access.
- Never share OTPs, passwords or payment credentials.
- Do not use another person's account without authorization.
- Accounts involved in fraud, abuse or unauthorized access may be restricted subject to applicable law.
3. Digital Books and License
A book purchase normally provides a limited, personal right to access the digital content through Ebooks Bazar's available features. Unless expressly permitted, users must not copy, resell, redistribute, publicly share, upload, reproduce or commercially exploit an ebook.
Copyright and other intellectual-property rights remain with their respective rights holders unless expressly stated otherwise.
4. Publisher Content
Publishers are responsible for having the necessary rights and permissions for content they upload. Ebooks Bazar may review, approve, reject, restrict or remove content where required by platform rules, rights-holder complaints, law or security considerations.
5. Prices and Purchases
Book prices and applicable charges are displayed before a purchase is completed. Purchase records may contain the book, user, amount, payment reference and relevant accounting information.
6. Wallet
Where wallet functionality is available, wallet balance and transaction history are maintained in the account. A wallet top-up may remain pending until its payment is verified and approved under the applicable process.
Users must not submit false payment information, reuse payment identifiers improperly, manipulate balances or exploit technical errors.
7. Payments
Payments may be processed through third-party providers such as Razorpay. Their terms and security/privacy practices may apply to the payment portion of a transaction.
8. Refunds, Reversals and Disputes
Refunds, cancellations, reversals and payment disputes are handled according to applicable transaction terms, payment-provider procedures and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms removes a non-waivable consumer right.
9. Prohibited Activities
- Uploading or distributing content without necessary rights.
- Unauthorized access to accounts, servers, databases or payment systems.
- Abusing automated requests or platform resources.
- Submitting false payment proofs or manipulating records.
- Introducing malware or malicious code.
- Using the service for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purposes.
10. Reviews and User Content
If ratings, reviews or other user content are available, users are responsible for what they submit. Content must not be unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, infringing or malicious. Ebooks Bazar may moderate or remove violating content.
11. Availability and Changes
Service availability may be affected by maintenance, outages, network failures, security incidents or third-party service interruptions. Features, book availability and platform functionality may change.
12. Intellectual Property
The Ebooks Bazar name, branding, interface and original platform materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. They may not be copied or commercially exploited without permission.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Ebooks Bazar is not responsible for losses caused by events outside reasonable control, third-party service failures, unauthorized access caused by a user's failure to protect credentials, or unlawful conduct by other users. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are intended to be interpreted under applicable laws of India, subject to mandatory consumer and other legal rights available under applicable law.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when the service, business model or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page.
